The New Range Rover Evoque is a huge leap away from the first generation, ground-breaking compact SUV. Available to order now from Rosedale Leasing, the New Evoque has gotten even better.

Now available with a choice of hybrid-electric engines, the New Evoque is equally at home both in the city and the country. With global sales of over 772,096 (20% of which were sold in the UK) and over than 217 international awards, the new Range Rover Evoque is a more refined evolution of the original.

The New Range Rover Evoque has been proudly designed, engineered and manufactured in Britain and boasts pioneering technology features to meet the demands of today’s customers.

New Range Rover Evoque exterior design

The New Range Rover Evoque has started its evolution into a distinctive coupé-like SUV, with a distinctive roofline and ‘rising waist’, unmistakably identifying as being part of the Range Rover family.

New jewel-esque design additions like slim Matrix LED headlamps give the New Range River Evoque a more sophisticated front and rear lamp graphic. The flush door handles add to its sculpted external aesthetic and optional R-Dynamic details and burnished copper accents add to the unique appeal.

New Range Rover Evoque interior

Inside the New Range Rover Evoque, the high-quality design focuses on uncluttered surfaces and simple lines with carefully curated materials to create a luxurious, minimalist, digital cabin.

The cabin is designed to be a calm and serene space for the driver and all occupants, with technologies such as the twin touchscreen Touch Pro Duo system, featuring new, faster software, cabin air ionisation and 16-way seat controls complementing the increased interior space.

Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Chief Design Officer, said;

“When Range Rover Evoque made its debut back in 2010, it transformed the world of compact SUVs and the new model is set to continue that remarkable journey. This characterful vehicle combines refinement and fun to create that all important emotional reaction that will turn heads and make people smile.”

New Range Rover Evoque practicality and boot space

The footprint is virtually identical, but it is built on Land Rover’s new mixed-material Premium Transverse Architecture, resulting in more interior space than its predecessor. A longer wheelbase gives 20mm extra rear kneeroom and an increase in small item stowage, with the the larger glove box and centre cubby now accommodating tablets, handbags and bottles easily.

The luggage space is also 10 per cent larger at 591 litres and it is wider, easily fitting in a folded pram or a set of golf clubs. This space increases to 1,383 litres when the 40:20:40 second-row seats are folded down.

New Range Rover Evoque all terrain and bad weather capabilities

This svelte compact SUV combines all-terrain capability with all-weather assurance. The New Evoque features All-Wheel Drive, second-generation Active Driveline with Driveline Disconnect and Adaptive Dynamics.

Terrain Response 2 – technology first found on full-size Range Rover – automatically detects the surface being driven on a adjusts the set-up accordingly; the New Evoque can now drive through water up to a depth of 600mm (previously 500mm).

New Range Rover Evoque smart technology

The New Evoque is the first Land Rover to feature Smart Settings, which uses artificial intelligence algorithms to understand the driver’s preference and act as an ‘onboard butler’. As well as seat position, music and climate control settings, the Evoque can also control steering column preferences, for maximum comfort and convenience.

Nick Rogers, Executive Director, Product Engineering, Jaguar Land Rover, said;

“Underneath the skin is an engineering and technical revolution. The architecture is all-new to accommodate both plug-in and mild hybrid systems, with only the door hinges remaining unchanged on the body. The chassis has been significantly reworked to make the most of the stiffer body, ensuring the characteristic ride comfort and refinement of a Range Rover.

“Evoque is now smarter than ever. The software that sits behind the infotainment system has been refined to provide a more intuitive customer experience. On top of that we’ve added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration.”

Jaguar Land Rover’s commitment to the UK car industry is ongoing, following a £1 billion investment to support the New Evoque’s creation and delivery. This includes £110 million into the company’s UK manufacturing plant in Halewood, Merseyside, to develop the state-of-the-art flexible manufacturing facility.
